Glucosamine for Dogs InflamAway ES
InflamAway ES is an our natural joint formula specially formulated with Glucosamine HCl to help support healthy joints and soft tissue in dogs. InflamAway ES contains potent herbs including yucca, bosweilla and curcumin to help reduce discomfort associated with joint problems.

We have been proudly manufacturing InflamAway ES since 1994. All natural and with no artificial ingredients or fillers, InflamAway ES contains essential ingredients needed to provide your dog with the best in joint care...naturally.

We use Glucosamine HCl, which is a natural compound found in cartilage and other connective tissues, working to control inflammation and maintain and support joint cartilage. While Glucosamine comes in two forms (hydrochloride and sulfate), we specifically use Glucosamine Hydrochloride (HCl) in InflamAway ES. We believe this form is superior, as it is more concentrated than the sulfate form and delivers on average 25 - 30% more Glucosamine for a given weight. By using InflamAway ES, you are providing your dog with a highly pure concentrated source of Glucosamine that is readily absorbed into his system.

InflamAway ES also contains yucca, a plant which is believed to be vital to joint, tendon and ligament health as it reportedly helps fight inflammation and supports the formation of strong connective joint tissue.  Also included is garlic, which is widely believed to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties, non-acidic Vitamin C which is a potent antioxidant, boswellia, which is an herb with a strong anti-inflammatory properties and curcumin, a  nutrient derived from an Indian spice called turmeric that is commonly known as one of nature's most potent anti-inflammatory nutrients. And InflamAway ES is made with a pleasant natural hickory scent and flavor that you and your dog will love.

For best results, we recommend that you use InflamAway ES with Super Oxy Green.

We started using InflamAway ES and Super Oxy Green on Dusty this summer while he was recuperating from knee surgery. I was impressed and pleased with increased energy and agility! Dusty is 13 and doing very well with these products.

"I have never seen such a remarkable change as in my German Shepherd dog Stacy after we started using InflamAway ES. She could hardly walk before. Now she is running and playing like a puppy."

Ann - Washington DC
I started using InflamAway ES and Super Oxy Green in the mid-90's when my Husky Shepherd Maggie developed arthritis at age 7. It worked! It really did ! I recommended the products to all my friends. I was blessed to have my dear sweet Maggie for 17 1/2 years. Then came the Rat Terrier Mutt Kirby. His only health problem until the last several months was a neurological deterioration of the spinal cord which affected his hind legs and mobility. He also took the products daily. Both "Maggie" and "Kirby" also had acupuncture and chiropractic treatment regularly, as well as a good diet and appropriate exercise. I am convinced that the regimen of InflamAway ES and Super Oxy Green, in combination with the treatment, significantly retarded their irreversible conditions, and enabled me to avoid giving them drugs until that became necessary. Now my 7-year-old Husky-Shepherd Emmie takes InflamAway ES and Super Oxy Green regularly for prevention. I'm sold. My experience has made me a believer. Are these products elixirs of longevity? I have no idea. But they help my canine family have better lives. To me that's all that matters.

Dogs 25 – 50 lbs – 1 tablet
Dogs 50 – 100 lbs – 2 tablets

Double for initial 4-6 week administration period

Note: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not yet been proven.
Ingredient Benefits

Boswellia Serrata
Boswellia serrata, also called Indian frankincense, is an herb that has been part of traditional Indian medicine for thousands of years. It is derived from the resin, or sap, of the Boswellia tree, a native Indian plant. The derived Boswellic acid is used to suppress joint inflammation, as it inhibits the activity of an enzyme called 5-lipoxygenase, which produces inflammatory molecules in the body's tissues. In a recently published clinical trial study using boswellia extract, researchers reportedly found a significant improvement in symptoms compared to those who took a placebo.

Curcumin
Curcumin is a naturally occurring  compound that is found in the Indian spice turmeric and has been used for centuries for medicinal purposes. Recent evidence reinforces that curcumin has anti-inflammatory properties that inhibit the enzymes COX-2 and LOX, both of which appear to cause inflammation. Curcumin prevents connective tissue break down through inhibiting these destructive enzymes and, unlike conventional non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), curcumin does not cause gastrointestinal side effects or ulcers. Patented for its unique composition ratio and use, we use Curcumin C3 Complex® in our products, which is comprised of three main chemical compounds – Curcumin, Demethoxycurcumin & Bisdemethoxycurcumin – collectively known as Curcuminoids.

Garlic
Commonly called a "superfood", it is widely believed that garlic has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. Garlic contains many active components, including potent oil with sulphur-containing compounds (allicin, alliin, and ajoene), enzymes (allinase, peroxidase and myrosinase), glucokinins, B group vitamins, vitamin C and flavonoids, citral, geraniol, linalool, aphellandrene and B phellandrene. Garlic also contains a wide range of trace minerals, which include copper, iron, zinc, magnesium, germanium, and selenium. The key therapeutic ingredient in garlic is alliin, an odorless sulfur-containing chemical derived from the amino acid cysteine. Allicin is formed when alliin comes into contact with the enzyme alliinase when raw garlic is chopped, crushed, or chewed. Allicin is what gives garlic its antibiotic properties and is responsible for its distinct odor.

Glucosamine HCl
An amino sugar that has been shown in studies to inhibit symptoms of advance joint problems. Glucosamine plays a key role in reducing inflammation and the enzymes that lead to inflammation that ultimately destroy cartilage. Glucosamine is naturally produced by the body, yet over time, the natural production of Glucosamine is inadequate to protect the joints from wear and tear and must be supplemented. Glucosamine is found in soft tissue such as, blood vessels, heart valves, mucus membranes, ligaments and tendons.

Licorice Root Extract
Licorice root, or glycyrrhiza glabra, is a concentrated herb that is frequently used as a medicinal remedy, as it contains antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. A recent study published in "Phytomedicine" confirmed that licorice root exhibits its anti-inflammatory behavior through inhibiting prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which are lipid compounds that can cause inflammation. Licorice root may also have the ability to fight off certain infections due to its antibacterial and antimicrobial agents.

Vitamin C (Buffered)
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is an important antioxidant vitamin that plays a mainly protective role in the body. Vitamin C protects the body against damage from free radicals that accelerate the aging process and are largely responsible for many degenerative diseases. Vitamin C plays a critical role in the body's immune system function as it stimulates production of interferon and antibodies that fight bacteria and viruses to protect against infections and illnesses. Vitamin C is also needed to make collagen, the protein necessary for the formation and repair of blood capillaries and connective tissue such as cartilage, skin, bone, tendons and ligaments.

Yucca
Yucca is a highly popular herb widely believed to relieve pain and inflammation, as the main active ingredient (a protein called saponin) has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Yucca is known to have steroidal-like effects that may benefit joint issues by suppressing pathogens in the digestive tract that cause joint inflammation. Yucca root also contains resveratrol, which is a natural phytoalexin that has proven antioxidant properties to protect the body from cellular damage caused by oxidation.
Note: Supplements are not a substitute for regular veterinary care. If you have concerns about your dog's health, we recommend that you consult with your veterinarian. We are always happy to work with your veterinarian or groomer to ensure that your dog has the best program possible.
